Improve Customer Service, Golfer Engagement and Club Revenues

CourseMate is the first Golf Club App to introduce iBeacon technology to allow clubs to improve engagement, customer satisfaction and increase revenues both on and off the course.
These portable, weather proof iBeacons can be placed strategically to improve service levels by giving both members and your team vital information. Below is few ways that golf clubs are using them to create a better experience.
CourseMate Golf App Revenue generating Beacons
CourseMate iBeacon uses on the golf course
For Example:
Beacon 1 can welcome your member by name to the club and let reception/concierge/pro shop know they have arrived to enable them to arrange, if required, their buggy/clubs/etc.
Beacon 2, placed at the first tee, can give golfers course conditions, and let your team know they are
Beacon 3 can improve pace of play and improve F&B revenues by being placed enroute to the halfway house so your golfers can place their food order in advance.
The possibilities are many - from allowing your team to be able to improve customer service by giving them the "heads up" so they can greet golfers by their name, arrange collections/food/etc in advance to seeing who is on the course to being able to upsell services/goods/rounds of golf/etc.

How do they work?

iBeacons are bluetooth devices at are paired to a club's CourseMate App that provide the option for two way communication - they can send a message to the golfer and/or to your team.
Programmed so when a golfer comes in range of the beacons, they will receive a message. This message can be a simple text notification or it can be a link, for example to book another round of golf or give feedback.
As mentioned before, the beacons can also be programmed not to send a message to the golfer, just simply notice they have come in range to give good operational data. This is what a lot of corporate businesses do - some just they know how many people come through (counting numbers) to how many times YOU come through.
For golf clubs this can be important information to aid the flow of traffic around the course - who's where, alleviate bottlenecks, etc or to see how popular the driving range or proshop is.

Around the venue

Our iBeacon technology can do much more than enhance golfer's experience out on the course, they are super flexible and are capable of creating a venue wide experience.
> Do you collect visitors or members from an airport? Our beacons can welcome them upon arrival and direct them to their driver (plus let your driver know of their arrival!)
> Does your proshop have seasonal sales or new stock in they would like to advertise when a golfer goes past?
> Is there a special offer on at the moment - it can be in the restaurant or the spa or even out on the range. Our beacons can send them a special offer notification for them to redeem it
The technology can be used to improve customer service levels too by letting team members know their member has arrived at certain places around the venue. For example the beacons can be used to request club collection for your member or get their cart or even their table at the restaurant.
