As the coronavirus outbreak forces people indoors, Zoom is an increasingly popular tool for socialising and it’s a great way to stay in touch with your members.
Here are 8 popular ideas to keep connected with members (and visitors!):
> Quiz night – try MyQuiz.org (under 100 players are free)
> Golf drills
> Group fitness lessons
> Hosting a digital dinner party
> Bob Ross-style paint-alongs
> A virtual book club
> Playing a game of charades
DON’T forget to add your planned meetings to your club’s calendar and send a notification through your app to either take them to the meeting or simply remind them to join.
For those not familiar with Zoom, here are the instructions:
Signing up to Zoom is free and easy.
You can download onto your desktop, laptop or mobile app so you can host or take part in a video/audio conference or webinar anywhere.
To host a video meeting, load up the website or app, login, then click New Meeting and Start With Video.
You can then share a link to invite other people – email, text & via your club app
If you receive a link to join a meeting, simply click it and you’ll be taken to the right video conference.
